Egor Efiok Talks about Celebs Reducing Their Ages,Goes Public With Her Age!

I am about two weeks OLDER than Charles Novia and I know this will SHOCK a lot of people that don't know me closely, but I'm PROUD to disclose my age because I know that I can confidently pass for a 28 year old.
I was born on the 9th of November, 1971, in Liverpool to the late Chief Andrew Sefia and Mrs Margaret Maeyen Sefia. My dad is Urhobo (Onvwia) and my mum is the daughter of the late acting Chief Judge of Rivers State, Chief Justice Wai-Ogosu (from Onne, Eleme) and late Mrs Gloria Nkereuwem (from Henshaw Town in Calabar). I am very PROUD of my roots and THANKFUL to God for being BLESSED with good genes. My younger sister, Esiri, will be 40 in May and looks 21; my late Nana could pass for 60, yet she was in her 80s when she died; my favourite great aunt, Chief Minika Etim James, can pass for 50, yet she's in her late 70s. I could go on and on. And these are people that have NEVER had any type of surgeries to look younger.

*rant begins* I am ranting because I am APPALLED at the way people blatantly lie about their ages. Is it a complex thing or what? I was SHOCKED to my bone marrows when I read an interview last year on Bella Naija, that someone gave where she shelved a whole SIX YEARS off her age! I assumed at first, that it may have been an error on the part of Adeola, the interviewer, until I saw another interview that she gave on a National paper, repeating her 'declaration'.

This lady does look the age that she is proclaiming to be, so why can't she be proud of looking younger? She is 30, but publicly declared that she is 24! Have these people forgotten that they have classmates? What type of razz insecurity is this? I have the original passport details of a lot of people due to helping with visas n' all, so I have proof about what I'm saying. I'm trying to understand why people like these lie...please can you help me out?

J'lo, Naomi Campbell, Gabrielle Union and Halle Berry are just a few celebrities in their 40s that look HOT for their ages and while they may have undergone surgeries to maintain their youthful looks because they can afford to, what about our own Naija natural beauties like Kate Henshaw who have never had surgeries to look good? I do not have model looks like these celebrities, but I am very much aware of my youthful looks and am very GRATEFUL to God for blessing me thus.

I have NEVER used any sort of toning creams (I'm dark-skinned anyway and would look like a beast if I did) and even if I had the liver (which I don't) to do surgeries, I can't afford to. I don't have a particular beauty regime and the only lotion I use when I remember, is E45. I don't even use facial cleansers n' all; I just shower normally twice a day with any soap or shower gel that has no toning chemicals and exercise and watch my diet.

Even when I was grossly overweight, I looked more like a chubby 'aje butter' than a 'madam'. All these facts are more than enough for me to thank God for, every time I look in the mirror. To date, there are people that still don't believe my age and I have had some people tell me to go and 'check well' and ask my family to tell me the truth! Lol! When I go clubbing with my nieces and nephews whom I used to bottle feed when they were babies, their friends try to toast me cos they think I'm their mates. I find it all hilarious, but always thank God inwardly for giving me good genes.

Please stop LYING about your age. If you are good at what you do and look good, you will not lose jobs because of your age. Is Kate Henshaw not the face of Samsung amongst other endorsements that God has blessed her with? Did her age stop God from blessing her? Please learn to be PROUD of your age and stop lying mbok! *rant over*

But i must say, Egor really do have a great body!..she can simply pass as a 28 year old lady. Never knew she is that old.
So there you have it. stop reducing your ages people! i clocked 30 today, and i am proud of it!
