what a movie, very real and i loved it. i actually say myself in it bcos as a child growing up, i was called such names bcos most children were smarter than me. but one thing kept me going which is " is not how fast a person can read but rather how well" ............God help out country Nigeria. very good film, we need more of this kind of motivational movies. really enjoyed it tho i cried bcos i know how hard it must have being at the beginning
ReplyDeleteThis was truly moving short. Absolutely loved and enjoyed it, exceeded my expectation on various levels. great stuff. a favorite so far
ReplyDeleteohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i nearly wept. short and beautiful and can i say for once the wicked step mother has been dispelled. Praise the lord.
ReplyDeleteits a good thing we know and learn more about dyslexia. Good one
in nigeria like this once u dont carry first in class you are an olodo and you have mental problems. nigerian teachers in primary schools need to be nicer
ReplyDeletei can not believe that i cried after watching this
ReplyDeleteOmgoshh! Emosshh! Tears in my eyes! Loved every moment of it!
ReplyDeleteThe fact that this film doesn't have a lot of views baffles me. This Is honestly a serious issue and the fact that a lot of Nigerian parents, teachers and etc are so close minded. It's even harder that's why knowledge is power. Never jump into conclusions about anything. Really love the goal of this film. Not a lot of step Mothers are willing to devote their time to a kid that isn't theirs. Love it. A job well done.
ReplyDeletedyslexia is definitely something to be aware of, both as teachers and parents. Generally though, every child needs to be empowered by their teachers and parents, without undermining their confidence, and being sensitive to their individual needs at every level. Every child is DIFFERENT
ReplyDeletekemi, you see why i love your blog? its not just about gossip but making impact. i am an adult but never heard about this till watching this video.
ReplyDeleteparents have to really take their children's failure serious and not just give up on them imagine if the step mum was wicked, this girls life could have been destroyed. god bless you dear.
Thanks Jacquelyn!!!#Hugs
