Jonathan sets up committee to probe Aviation minister,Oduah's car scandal

According to the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, the Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has set up a three-man panel to investigate the N225million armoured car scandal rocking the aviation ministry and the  aviation minister, Stella Oduah.

Mr Reuben Abati said the panel will be chaired by the immediate past Head of Service, Sali Bello and will include the National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki, and Air Vice Marshal Dik Iruenebere. The panel is to find out why the cars were bought and whether the procurement of the cars followed due process or not. 
The aviation minister, Stella Oduah was conspicuously absent at today's Federal Executive Council meeting.
Saharareporters reported that she travelled out of Nigeria yesterday for some undisclosed reasons.
