KOB Exclusive: Gospel Singer Prisca Adebisi Releases New Album;New Song.

Adebisi Prisca is a fast rising star and singer in the Nigerian gospel music scene. she has some previous singles to her credit already. In this interview, she spoke to KOB about how she ventured into music, and her journey so far. she also just released a new Album 'New Song.'

KOB:Could you please tell us where you're from and what inspire you to pursue career in gospel music? 

Prisca: My name is Adebisi Prisca. I was born in Lagos. I am a gospel singer, music director, worship leader and a former member of the GBEMISOKE group whose album 'Gbemisoke worship blues' under winners entertainment went viral and enjoys a huge support and airplay on radio,churches and homes.

I am a student of the University of Lagos (Dli) studying biology education. A second of four children. I always believed the Lord called me to take gospel outside of the four walls of the church. I was involved in my primary and secondary school choral group also i participated in the music department of my church, at same time i do back up jobs in the studio working with great producers and different gospel artiste. All this inspired me to pursue a career in gospel music. 

KOB: Recently, you released your first album titled 'NEW SONGS' tell us about it. 

Prisca: Yes, it's an amazing compilation of songs with seven tracks featuring Esther Adeola(Ebo'ope), Atome and Charisma .

KOB: Who are the ones that inspire you musically? 

Prisca: First of all God and my personal experiences as well as experiences shared from people. Also great singers and writers like Mary Mary, Cece Winans, Lara George, Bola Are, Frank Edwards and i can go on and on, all of these in one way or the other influences my songs as i write them. 

KOB: What are your future plans as you grow wide? 

Prisca: By God's grace i want to be able to reach out to the brokenhearted, lost and weary souls with my songs that as they hear every line of my songs it'll make a meaning in their lives, because this is purpose we are called. Also expect more albums and videos very soon.
