Photos: CBN Lagos Office Almost Burnt Down

Yesterday, there was a fire outbreak at the CBN building in Lagos, where the 2nd floor almost burnt down.  the fire was quickly contained by the fire fighters. 
Although CBN didn’t give a reason for the fire outbreak , they said there was no cause for alarm as the records of the bank are intact, and not lost to the fire(sigh), because they already had back ups.
 “We wish to assure our numerous stakeholders that the records of the bank are intact as the Bank has an effective backup of all its records, as part of our disaster recovery programme”
