BOKOHARAM WAHALA- GOWON SAYS U.S IS NOT OUR FRIEND.
Former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon

With the way these boko boys are waxing stronger, killing people with impunity, taking over towns and villages in the North, and the United States, has decided that it is not time to help Nigeria yet, one of Nigeria's past leader, General Gowon has stated that U.S is not Nigeria's friend.

Gowon said, “The same thing happened during the Civil War. The Americas refused to sell arms to us. I wanted them to help me with some modest aircraft so that I could chase out Ojukwu’s (Col. Odumegwu Ojukwu) B52 or B56 as they called it. That was all I wanted; not to shoot it down but to chase it away so that it does not drop bombs and kill innocent people.

“But the Americans refused to help us and they even refused to sell arms and ammunitions and the spare parts of the equipment that we got from them. And at the same time, they (America) were shipping aircraft and loads of arms and ammunition to Zaire. What sort of friends are they?

“You call them your friends and they say that they are helping us to fight terror. We don’t want their people (Americans) to come and fight the war (against Boko Haram) for us but, at least, we need the equipment.
“During my time (as Head of State), I had to go to the Russians to get the equipment we wanted in order to prosecute that war. If they cannot help us, they should allow us to go elsewhere and get what we want to ensure that we deal with this particular problem.”
***I really hope the U.S is not waiting until Nigeria becomes another Syria or Libya before helping. and if they don't want to help, then let Nigeria look for alternatives.***

LAGOS PDP CHIEFTAINS DEFECTS TO APC.
APC and PDP logos
The fear of the Oba is the beginning of wisdom for the Lagos PDP chieftains. Lol. The Oba of Lagos(Traditional ruler) has sometimes last week said PDP will never rule Lagos, he even prayed that the gods of the land will not allow such happen in Lagos. I think the PDP chieftains think there is no other way than joining APC, they they want a shot at ruling Lagos .

One of the defectors, Finnih who spoke for all the defectors said “We took the bold decision because we see the party as a prosperous party. We defected based on the lack of internal democracy in the PDP and our aim is winning the presidential election by APC,”

***Me thinks they defected only because they have no shot at all at ruling Lagos. Lol***

PLANE CRASH AVERTED IN KWARA-PLANE VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY.
Overland Airways

Another plane crash was averted yesterday in Kwara state, Iloring, when an Overland airways flight ATR 72 veered off the runway, after landing, at the iloring airport.
The plane was carrying  fifty-nine passengers and four crew members. No casualty was recorded and  all the passengers disembarked safely from the plane.
Thank God for saving those lives. with all the boko killings, we don't need a plane crash again in Nigeria.

I SHOULD HAVE STOPPED TAMBUWAL FROM BECOMING SPEAKER IN 2011-JONATHAN LAMENTS.
PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan

Uncle Jona is not very happy with speaker Tambuwal. infact he regrets the fact that he didnt stop Tambuwal from becoming a speaker in 2011. im sure Tambuwal's defection to the APC, and the way he has been going about doing things , -not in Uncle Jona's way is a fact that is giving our president sleepless nights.
He claims a south-western should have been the speaker, because of the Zoning. but Tambuwal defeated the said lawmaker to emerge the speaker.
He said;
“The last time, it was difficult for me because I insisted that the Southwest must get the Speaker. Of course, I couldn’t go through with it because some of us within the Southwest didn’t want it, based on some personal reasons. I am still suffering from that till today.”
Jonathan said that this time around, the party would work collectively to ensure that the South West gets whatever is zoned to them. “People should not rob it from us.”

Have a great day people. Make sure you go to church today.#winks
