Traffice robber arrested with locally made gun..

The Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command has arrested one Ese Ebrorhie, a suspected member of a three-man robbery gang.

The police said the gang specialised in using motorcycles to rob commercial buses in the Mile 2 and Apapa areas of the state.

The RRS Commander, Olatunji Disu, said the suspect was arrested while he and other gang members were escaping from a scene of a botched operation in Mile 2.
He was allegedly arrested with a locally-made double-barrelled gun and a pistol

Ebrorhie told the police that he joined the gang about two months ago because he needed money to repair his motorcycle.


He said, “I bought a fairly used motorcycle which developed a problem and there was nobody to help me, so I joined the gang to raise funds to repair the motorcycle.

“We usually operated twice in a day ─ around 5am and from 9pm.We rob only commercial buses by pretending to be passengers.

“Once inside the bus, the gang leader, Zubby, who would be holding one of our guns, would hold the bus driver hostage while we rob every passenger of their belongings. After the operation, we would mount our waiting motorcycle to escape.”





I hope they a re all caught and put where they belong.. Animals in human skin..
